Inside-Outside Day is here to stay!

The Turtles loved Inside-Outside Day so much yesterday, we thought we would to do it again today. The Turtles decided that snack should be one of the outdoor activities. Other outdoor activities included drawing with chalk on the easel, building with magnatiles, dictating Turtle Stories and reading books. Yesterday we realized that when the other kids came out, some of our classroom materials got lost, so we decided to put our materials away when other classes came out.

Working with the chalk at the easel quickly turned into a cape-making activity! And then there were a multitude of super heroes!

The Turtles also found many many uses for the tire that Tamara brought in to the playground.

The Turtle Stories were also popular, with many children sharing their stories. The little kids were interested in what the big kids were doing, and listened carefully to the big kids' stories, before asking for a turn. At Book Time, Tamara shared many of the stories, and the Turtles loved the story of the little kid! They also loved when their friends had silly things in their stories.

Inside, the Turtles discovered the new finger puppets, and acted out lots of silly stories.
At Book Time, Naomi shared one of the books she brought in, telling us the story on each page.
