Choice time today was rich with new explorations as we opened the easel for the first time! The children were excited to work with this new experience and painted huge paintings.
Several children also worked hard to build a giant building, using blocks as hammers.
We did a Sun Salutation before Morning Meeting, stretching and calming our bodies with deep breathing and yoga.
And at Morning Meeting, we explored the different sounds of the Boom Whackers!
And finally, we went on a big adventure! We took advantage of the beautiful fall weather for a walking trip to the Abington Art Center. We told the children the Story of the Search for Art, and set out to find as much art as we could on the brand new Art Loop! We saw amazing things, and afterward, each child had a different favorite sculpture!
